The Rossini Club returns to the Atheneum for a program of songful character pieces, from Schubert's bittersweet Variations on Trockne Blumen, to Schumann's witty 5 Pieces in the Folk Style. Rossini Club directors Nick Davies and Ivy Ringel will perform alongside longtime collaborator Wesley Ducote in this tribute to the artfully expressive Austro-German lyric tradition.
